14th April 2011 - Air Experience Flying, RAF Woodvale

Picture
The first Thursday of the Easter holidays saw a successful visit to RAF Woodvale from ten King's and Queens RAF cadets. Despite a persistently low cloud base making the popular airborne activity of aerobatics unlikely, there were enough breaks in the clouds to allow a lucky few to have their stomachs repeatedly thrown around in a dizzying array of alternating ground and sky. In all the trip was a great first taste of cadet flying for several of the group and we look forward to returning for more in June.
