Welcome

The King's School Combined Cadet Force (CCF) was established in 1980 and has two sections: Army and RAF. It is open to boys and girls in Year 8 and above from both King’s and Queen’s Schools.

The CCF meets at King's after school every Friday during term-time and is run by both school teaching staff and outside instructors. The aim of the CCF is to develop qualities of leadership, self-discipline and self-confidence through a wide range of activities including fieldcraft, first aid, adventure training, shooting, gliding and much more besides. The CCF is NOT a recruiting organisation although some past members have gone on to careers in the military.

Students are able to compete in both Army and RAF national competitions, which the King’s School has been successful in many times.

If you have any questions about the CCF at King's, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
